Course Details

The race starts at the entrance of Balçova Therapy Forest. Despite its short length, the course features a steep and demanding climb early on. Most of the approximately 300 meters of elevation gain is concentrated in this short but sharp ascent, requiring controlled effort from the start.
After the climb, the course descends into a smooth and enjoyable downhill section that flows naturally toward the finish. Nearly half of the route runs through Balçova Forest’s narrow and scenic singletrack trails.
The 5K course is ideal for runners looking for a fast yet challenging trail race, those new to trail running, or athletes seeking a short but memorable effort.
Nearly half of this fast-flowing course consists of singletrack trails.
Terrain distribution:

  • 55% forest roads
  • 45% forest singletrack

Dirt roads, forest ground, and leaf-covered sections define the natural character of the course. From start to finish, the route remains deep within dense forest terrain. No asphalt.
